Why access counts tokens, not dollars

Arctic tiers are set in whole $ARCTIC. That is a deliberate choice, and here is the reasoning.
Some platforms grant access when your holding is worth a dollar amount. It sounds fair, but it means your limits change every time the price moves: a quiet afternoon can drop you a tier in the middle of a job.
Counting whole tokens keeps access stable. If you hold 5,000,000 $ARCTIC, you are a Holder, whatever the chart does. You can plan around it.
What holding does not do
- It does not pay you. There is no staking yield, no fee share, no airdrop.
- It does not buy you a balance. Your allowance is a number of free requests that refills at midnight UTC and cannot be moved or sold.
- It does not bypass the pool ceiling. When the whole pool reaches its daily limit, every tier waits.
